🌸 Colour & Fading

Will the colours in my piece fade over time?

Our jewellery features real preserved flowers sealed in resin. While we take great care in the curing process, natural botanicals may subtly shift in appearance over time — particularly with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or UV light. We recommend keeping your piece out of direct sunlight when not being worn to help maintain its appearance for as long as possible.

Can I wear my jewellery in sunlight?

Occasional wear outdoors is fine, but we'd suggest avoiding prolonged direct sun exposure. UV light can gradually affect both the resin clarity and the natural flower tones over time.

💧 Water & Swimming

Can I wear my jewellery in water?

We recommend removing your jewellery before swimming, bathing, or washing your hands. Prolonged water exposure — especially in chlorinated or saltwater — may affect the resin surface and the metal components over time.

What about perfume and lotions?

Please apply perfume, hairspray, and body lotions before putting on your jewellery, not after. Chemicals in these products can cloud the resin or affect metal finishes. "Last on, first off" is a good rule to follow.

How should I store my Petal Pixie jewellery?

Store each piece in the pouch or box provided, away from direct sunlight, heat, and humidity. Avoid storing multiple pieces together loosely, as this can cause scratching. A cool, dry drawer or jewellery box is ideal.

🌿 Resin & Craftsmanship

Is the resin safe to wear?

All our pieces use fully cured resin. Once cured, resin is generally considered safe for jewellery wear. However, as with any accessory, if you experience any unusual skin reaction, we recommend discontinuing use and consulting a healthcare professional.

🌸 Skin Sensitivity

I have sensitive skin — can I wear your jewellery?

We use hypoallergenic fittings where possible and aim to minimise metal contact with skin. That said, sensitivities vary from person to person, and we can't guarantee a reaction-free experience for every individual. If you have a known metal allergy, please check the product listing for materials used or contact us before purchasing.

📦 Packaging & Dispatch

How will my order be packaged?

Every Petal Pixie order is carefully packaged to protect your piece during transit, presented in our signature branded packaging — perfect for gifting.

How long will my order take to arrive?

We aim to dispatch orders within 3–5 working days. Delivery times vary by destination and chosen shipping method. You'll receive a dispatch confirmation email with tracking details where available.

🔄 Returns & Refunds

What is your returns policy?

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unworn, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Please contact us at Petalpixiejewellery@gmail.com to initiate a return.

What if my item arrives damaged?

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and your order number. We'll do our best to make it right.

Are custom or personalised items returnable?

Custom and personalised pieces are non-returnable unless they arrive faulty or damaged, in line with UK consumer rights.
